About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandiser/Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning and executing strategies to increase revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze trends and forecast demand.
What you'll do?
  • Develop and implement sales plans based on sales forecasts and historical data.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client performance to identify opportunities or risks to sales plans.
  • Support the VP Of Revenue and Account Managers with weekly performance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain reports to assist decision-making.
  • Monitor core stock usage and recommend replenishment orders.
  • Work closely with the account management team to achieve sales targets and to build solutions for client needs.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to optimize margins and meet client needs.
  • Prepare client QBRs to review quarterly performance and plan for the next quarter.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance gift operations processes for &Open's continued expansion.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on merchandising strategies.
What you'll need
  • Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of retail math and financial metrics.
