BizOps Manager | Chief of Staff

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote, United Kingdom, East Coast US, Dublin

About &Open

We are a fast-growing B2B gifting platform, empowering companies to build meaningful connections through thoughtful, personalized gifts. As we scale we’re looking for a sharp, curious, analytical and execution-focused BizOps & Chief of Staff hybrid to help us uncover what’s working, drive key strategic projects, keep leadership aligned and improve processes where needed.

About the team
The Leadership team sets &Open’s strategic direction, empowering teams to deliver impact and grow the business.
We foster innovation, drive collaboration, and ensure that our company values remain at the heart of everything we do.
Leading with purpose and creating an environment where creativity and ambition thrive.

About the role

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role — perfect for someone who is equally comfortable diving into data, streamlining operations, making practical, revenue-driving recommendations and working directly with executives on strategic initiatives.

What you'll do?

 Identify Bright Spots:

  • Analyze internal data across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Finance to spot patterns of success — and help leadership double down on what’s driving results.

  • Develop dashboards and regular reporting that highlights leading indicators of growth (not just lagging metrics), ensuring we are proactive, not reactive in our decision-making.

Operational & Strategic Problem-Solving:

  • Jump into high-friction areas (like margin optimization, sales handoffs, or onboarding processes) and recommend process improvements to unlock revenue and retention.

  • Work closely with Finance to track SaaS revenue vs. marketplace revenue, and ensure we have a clear, real-time view of profitability and growth drivers.

Investor Relations & Board Management :

  • Partner with the CEO, VP Revenue, and Finance to build the story behind our numbers — helping us articulate what’s working (and why) to investors.

  • Own  preparation for board meetings, fundraising materials, ensuring data-backed storytelling.

  • Manage investor follow-ups and help craft metrics and operational narratives for data rooms, investor updates, and pitch materials.

Cross-Functional Glue:

  • Work across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to connect the dots between what teams are doing and what’s driving real results, ensuring alignment on key initiatives.

  • Establish a regular cadence of internal reporting, so everyone (from execs to individual teams) is clear on what’s working and where to focus next.

  • Drive internal communication initiatives that strengthen culture, transparency, and decision-making.

Leadership enablement:

  • Own the operating rhythm of the company and ensure leadership team meetings are focused, product and drive accountability.

  • Partner with the CEO to ensure clarity in goal setting, OKRs and strategic priorities across departments.

  • Help leadership prioritize effectively and align teams on what matters most for growth.

In the first 6 months, you will:

  • Build a clear, data-driven view of our revenue engine — what’s working, what’s not, and where to invest for maximum impact.

  • Create a handful of simple but powerful dashboards that leadership actually wants to check every week.

  • Identify 2-3 key process changes that remove friction and directly improve conversion, retention, or margins.

  • Improve internal planning and communication, ensuring leadership meetings drive focus, accountability, and execution.

  • Help us shape our story using real data, not just gut instinct.

What you'll need
  • 4-8 years in a BizOps, Chief of Staff, Strategy, FP&A, or Consulting role — ideally at a fast-growing B2B SaaS or marketplace company.

  • Experience supporting a fundraise process (Series B or later) or working directly with investors.

  • Strong analytical skills (Excel/Sheets wizardry required; SQL a big plus).

  • Experience building dashboards and reports using tools like Looker, Tableau, Python or similar.

  • Experience working directly with founders and leadership teams, with a knack for storytelling through data.

  • Comfortable managing multiple projects across teams, with strong prioritization skills.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary + equity package.

  • Flexible, remote-friendly working (with occasional team meetups).

  • Opportunity to grow into a senior strategy or operations leadership role as we scale.

  • Company Pension

  • Healthcare cover

  • 25 days Annual Leave + 2 Company Days

  • Maternity and Paternity Paid Leave

  • Exciting experience in a fast-paced start-up environment
