About the team

The Ecommerce team owns &Open’s customer-facing buying catalogue, ensuring all products are accurately presented, maintained, and optimised. They work in close partnership with the Buying and Merchandising teams to deliver a cohesive, high-quality catalog experience.

About the role

We are seeking an Ecommerce admin assistant to support our Technology Team for a short term project. Primary responsibilities will include vendor outreach and administration tasks on Shopify, Odoo to improve the quality of our gift catalog. 


The successful candidate will have experience in an administrative role, preferably within a retail environment. 

What you'll do?

  • Support. Assist our Ecommerce team with the review and upload of product data within Shopify and Odoo

  • Attentive to detail. You’ll be able to detect any inaccuracies or missing data, and work with suppliers and the team to resolve it.

  • Process oriented. You’ll follow the assigned processes to ensure accuracy and quality of work.

  • Communicate. Communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders to ensure progress and queries/concerns are communicated effectively along the way.

What you'll need

  • Experience in an administrative role is essential.

  • Experienced in working with Shopify, Odoo or similar Ecommerce platforms is preferred, not essential.

  • Inherent interest in working in Ecommerce or a similar technical role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google sheets.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A keen eye for detail.

  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise assignments and responsibilities, adhere to strict deadlines and work well in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
